GENERATION OF LEGAL MINDS
The Eden Prairie High School Mock Trial program gives students the opportunity to step into the courtroom and experience the law in action. Through simulated trials based on real legal issues, students develop skills in public speaking, critical thinking, teamwork, and legal analysis while learning how the justice system works beyond the textbook.
Guided by experienced volunteer coaches and Minnesota attorneys, EPHS Mock Trial emphasizes preparation, professionalism, and confidence. Students take on the roles of attorneys and witnesses, learning to think on their feet, advocate clearly, and collaborate under pressure. Our season runs from September through March and culminates in competitive courtroom trials, where students apply everything they have learned in a real courtroom setting.
Above all, EPHS Mock Trial is about growth: Building confidence, fostering curiosity about the law, and creating a supportive environment where students are challenged, encouraged, and proud of the work they put in.

Kaitlyn Minarsich
Kaitlyn (Mrs. M) serves as the EPHS Faculty Advisor for Mock Trial, connecting the team with Eden Prairie High School and supporting the program throughout the season.
She helps coordinate school needs, supports students and coaches, and ensures the team has the resources needed to succeed.

Mags Paracha
Mags serves as the Program Coordinator and primary point of contact for EPHS Mock Trial, overseeing practices, competitions, and season planning.
As a former award-winning mock trial competitor, she helps students develop case strategy, courtroom skills, confidence, and strong teamwork throughout the season.

Josh Gudahl
Josh is a child custody attorney with Hennepin County and serves as an Attorney Coach for EPHS Mock Trial.
He brings real-world legal experience to the team, helping students strengthen their understanding of trial strategy, evidence, objections, examinations, and persuasive courtroom advocacy.

Becca Hanscom
Becca is a child protection attorney with Hennepin County and serves as an Attorney Coach for EPHS Mock Trial.
She brings real-world legal experience to the team, helping students strengthen their understanding of trial procedure, evidence, objections, examinations, and persuasive courtroom advocacy.
